Aced Poker Tournament Selection
The best part of Aced is the cash game selection, though they do have some great tournaments available as well. Their major tournament is the Sunday $50,000 Guarantee. Aced usually does not offer much larger tournaments than this $50,000 Guarantee though they do have a large amount of smaller guaranteed tournaments running at all times.
Aced Poker SNG (Sit and Go) Selection
Sit and Go selection on Aced is limited relative to many other sites, but is sufficient enough that a SNG player would be happy on Aced. They offer 2 man (Heads Up), 6 man and 10 man SNGs. The SNG buy ins range from 60 cents all the way up to $415. SNGs on Aced fill up quickly enough that you will not have to wait around in the lobby for your game to start after you register.
Aced Poker Competition
Perhaps the best aspect of Aced is the competition you will be facing. It is not too far fetched to say that Aced players are currently some of the worst out there, and that is fantastic news for you as a player. This applies to any time of game you plan on playing, be it Cash, Tournament or Sit and Go.
Aced Poker Software
The software on Aced is extremely clean. The table is laid out in a way that users are easily able to adjust to the game play. The action is directed by a bar underneath each player’s name when it is his or her turn to act. Because of this clean interface Aced is a great site to multi table on. You are allowed to play up to 12 tables at a time and cascade, tile, or resize them whichever way you would like.
Aced Poker Unique Features
Aced has a few unique features available. The first is a four color deck. This simply changes each card to a color, instead of a club a club, you can make it just a green card. The entire deck would simply transform clubs, diamonds, hearts and spades to into four different colors. This is useful if you are afraid you might mistake a club for a spade or if you just like the look of a four color deck more than a standard deck.
The second unique feature is virtually exclusive to Aced. This feature is called “Deal It Twice.” It is implemented like this. Say you and a player are all in, you will have the option to deal the remaining community cards twice. This is of benefit because it reduces the variance when you play. Instead of winning or losing an entire pot, you might win one time the cards are dealt and lose the other time. This is an optional feature and both players would have to agree to deal it twice.
Aced Poker Non-Poker Games
While Aced is known as a poker room they do offer a casino section as well. The games available in the casino are include Blackjack, Roulette, Caribbean Stud. In addition are Video Poker games including Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, and Jacks or Better. The final two games available are Backgammon and Euchre.
